My piece for Streets of Zine (Ascent: Night Market)! This drawing is based on markets in Xiamen, my father’s hometown.

Trying to get night time colors down is often a challenge for me. I want it to look like its at night time, so it should feel dark, but I also want it to be bright for people looking at it. At this stage I was struggling getting the balance and harmony of colors right.
